Roller Shutters in Doncaster
Securetec supplies and installs roller shutters for Doncaster homes, serving the suburb from our Epping base. Most enquiries we see from the area are for window shutters on bedrooms and living rooms — a shutter that closes fully gives you a physical barrier over the glass, near-total darkness for sleeping, and a layer that helps slow heat moving through the window in summer and winter. Electric operation is popular because a shutter that runs at the press of a button is one that actually gets used. We measure every opening on site, talk through colours and controls, and give you a written quote with nothing ordered until you approve it. The measure and quote are free.

Why Doncaster homeowners choose roller shutters
For a family home, a roller shutter does several jobs at once. Closed at night it adds a solid layer over the window and blocks street and early-morning light. Partly lowered on a hot afternoon it keeps direct sun off the glass. Lowered on a cold night it adds an insulating air gap in front of the window.
Shutters are fitted to the outside of the window, so curtains and blinds stay as they are inside.
Choosing a shutter for your windows
Our standard residential profile is the AR402 aluminium slat, made to measure for each opening. We'll look at window size, how the headbox and guides will sit on your brick or render, and whether the shutter should be manual or motorised.
If you're motorising several windows, ask about group or remote control so you can close a whole side of the house at once.
Upgrading shutters you already have
If your Doncaster home already has manual shutters, we can look at converting them to electric. We also repair and service shutters that are noisy, jammed or dropping unevenly.
