How Roller Shutters Work
A simple system: a curtain of slats that rolls up out of sight or down to cover the opening.
The shutter curtain runs in guides on each side of the opening.
- Raised, the curtain rolls into the headbox above the opening
- Lowered, it covers the window or door completely
- Operated manually or by motor, depending on the configuration
